Launched in late November 2012, Lightstock is a faith-focused, safe-searching, carefully-curated stock photography website geared for the Christian community. Its royalty-free images are perfect for any number of church or ministry uses, whether its sermon slides, worship backgrounds, websites, or video illustrations. Plus, every time an image is downloaded at Lightstock a New Testament is donated.

Founders, Jon & Josh Bailey explain what compelled them to create Lightstock. "Christians need a safe place to find images tailor-made for the organizations and communities they serve. Frankly, it's a pain searching other stock sites for images that don't even work that great. At Lightstock you'll find cheesy-free images of figures from the Bible, as well as contemporary Christians living their faith.

Blake Atwood, of Faith Village sums it up well, "Lightstock is a site that's much needed in the Christian media world. It's a place that will help to tell the old, old story in brand new and visually arresting ways."
